Missouri boasts many quirky museums that are worth going out of your way for! Each museum has different hours of operation and some are only by appointment, so please call first.

Where Pigs Fly Farm and World's 2nd Largest Pig Museum
The Where Pigs Fly Farm is an organization that stands out in America as having not only a Pig Museum, but an incredible farm animal rescue and one of the Biggest, Best Petting Zoos. Overall, a great place for children and adults to visit.

Pony Express National Museum
The Pony Express Museum is a transport museum in Saint Joseph, Missouri, documenting the history of the Pony Express, the first fast mail line across the North American continent from the Missouri River to the Pacific coast.

National Cookie Cutter Historical Museum
The Museum has a number of display cases, each containing a collection of different cutters. Some of those display advertising cutters, tinsmith's cutters, European cutters, etc. The Museum also hosts a growing archive of cookie-cutter-related materials, newsletters, advertising offers, and other items of interest to collectors in the cookie-cutter field.

Leila's Hair Museum
Sadly, this museum is closed. It displayed over 400 wreaths and 2,000 pieces of jewelry featuring human hair.

Jefferson Barracks Telephone Museum
The Jefferson Barracks Telephone Museum is housed in a beautifully restored 1896 building and features an extensive collection of telephones, telephone-related equipment, and memorabilia.

The World's Largest Small Electrical Appliance Museum
Over 4000 unique, rare electrical appliances from toasters to peculators and razors to waffle irons.
