Created in 2008, the World’s Largest Rocking Chair (official name and title) was built for the express purpose of breaking the Guinness World Record for large rocking chairs. The nearby Route 66 Fanning Outpost commissioned the massive piece of furniture as a roadside attraction in the grand American tradition.
The Where Pigs Fly Farm is an organization that stands out in America as having not only a Pig Museum, but an incredible farm animal rescue and one of the Biggest, Best Petting Zoos. Overall, a great place for children and adults to visit.
Erected on the corner of the Missouri Quilt Museum property sits the World's Largest Spool of Thread at 22 feet tall and over 1 million yards of thread already added thanks to a generous donation from Aurifil! You've got to come see this structure! Bring your thread with you and add to it.
The Giant Pecan has successfully been moved into the city of Brunswick and is plainly visible from Hwy. 24. Be sure to check it out during the Pecan Festival held in early October.
