What is FAFSA?
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a document from the U.S. Department of Education that prospective and current college students are encouraged to complete. This document gathers financial information about the student and the student's family, and it helps determine how much financial aid a student can receive. In addition, students may be offered grants and work study opportunities based on the results of the FAFSA. Also, many private scholarships use this data in their awards decisions.
Brainfuse HelpNow offers library patrons live help filling out the FAFSA. Help is available Monday - Thursday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM CST. Follow the instructions below to access the live FAFSA assistance.
