The Child Advocacy Center of Northeast Missouri is a nonprofit organization that exists to protect children, heal families and prevent abuse. The primary goal of The Child Advocacy Center of Northeast MO is to ensure that children disclosing abuse are not further victimized by the intervention systems designed to protect them. Services offered include forensic interviews, children and family advocacy, mental health therapy, and school and community-based prevention education programs.

CAP is a revolutionary new collaborative initiative that focuses on reaching children at risk for sex trafficking or other forms of child sexual abuse. CAP provides advocacy, resources, and support to children and families identified in internet/electronics-related crimes against children and human trafficking investigations. CAP. provides tools such as assistance accessing Internet Safety Education (ISE) programs to help parents of children engaged in high-risk sexual activities online, activities that leave them vulnerable to trafficking or other forms of sexual abuse.

The Digital Civics Toolkit draws on the research and work of the MacArthur Research Network on Youth and Participatory Politics (YPP). The YPP Network formed out of the recognition that youth are critical to the future of democracy and that the digital age is introducing technological changes that are impacting how youth develop into informed, engaged, and effective actors. The YPP Network is working to understand youth engagement in participatory politics, the developmental pathways that can lead to engagement, and the ways in which youth can be politically active in the digital age.

Human trafficking is "a form of modern-day slavery that involves the illegal exploitation of the most vulnerable members in our society for purposes of commercial sex and cheap labor. To combat human trafficking, the United States Attorney's Office heads a task force comprised of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies that partners with non-governmental organizations who provide victim-services."

Educate and Empower Kids (EEK) provides resources to parents and educators as they guide their children in the digital age.

Love is Respect is the national resource to disrupt and prevent unhealthy relationships and intimate partner violence by empowering young people through inclusive and equitable education, support, and resources.

A project of the National Domestic Violence Hotline, love is respect offers 24/7 information, support, and advocacy to young people between the ages of 13 and 26 who have questions or concerns about their romantic relationships. They also provide support to concerned friends and family members, teachers, counselors, and other service providers through the same free and confidential services via phone, text, and live chat.

They aim to be a safe and inclusive space for young people to access help and information in a setting specifically for them. They provide comprehensive education through resources including quizzes, interactive pages, and testimonials, as well as training, toolkits, and curriculum for educators, peers, and parents to promote healthy relationships and prevent future abuse.

The Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (MO ICAC), is part of a network of 61 nationwide task forces funded by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. They serve criminal justice agencies and the citizens of Missouri by providing investigative, forensic and prevention training and resources in an effort to fight online child exploitation.

MO ICAC has been managed by the St. Charles County Police Department since 2011. Over 80 affiliate agencies work with MO ICAC to ensure that online child exploitation issues are addressed quickly by local jurisdictions. Please see their list of Affiliates to locate the ICAC officers in your area.

MO ICAC provides law enforcement with the latest techniques and resources for the investigation and apprehension of online offenders. Through their partnerships with NetSmartz, Missouri KidsFirst, and Crisis Aid International, MO ICAC trains law enforcement officers, child advocates and other professionals to give Internet safety presentations to parents and students.

Missouri KidsFirst empowers adults to protect children from abuse and neglect through community education, professional training, and child advocacy.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to help find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. NCMEC works with families, victims, private industry, law enforcement, and the public to assist with preventing child abductions, recovering missing children, and providing services to deter and combat child sexual exploitation.

This support encompasses forensic and investigative components, training and technical assistance, victim services, prevention and community education.

NoFiltr is their peer-to-peer prevention program that helps teens learn about how to protect themselves from online threats.
