USCIS has developed a variety of materials to help educators supplement classroom instruction to prepare their students for the naturalization process and English and civics test.

Educators and volunteers play a critical role in helping immigrants prepare for U.S. citizenship. Use this section of the Citizenship Resource Center to find materials to include in or enhance your curriculum and supplement classroom study materials.

USCIS offers free training seminars designed to enhance the skills needed to teach U.S. history, civics, and the naturalization process to immigrant students. These skills will help educators, volunteers, and organizations offer a comprehensive adult citizenship program. USCIS does not certify teachers or adult citizenship programs.
