Community Resources: Immigrants, Refugees, New Citizens

Lists of community resources for patrons.

Introduction

St. Louis County Library offers many resources and materials to help immigrants, new United States citizens, and all English learners. Learn a new language, find newspapers and books in other languages, and find support for citizenship.

The resources in the left column are available through all branches. These include items in circulation, databases, and outside resources.

The resources in the right column are part of the Adult Education Collection. The St. Louis County Library acquired a collection that contains materials geared toward non-native English speakers and citizenship applicants. These items can be located by searching "Adult Education Collection" in the online catalog or Sierra. Resources in the Adult Education Collection are holdable and non-floating. The ELL and citizenship materials are available at the following branches: Daniel Boone, Florissant Valley, Grant's Trail, Rock Road, Sachs, Thornhille, and Weber Road.
