Welcome to St. Louis County Library's Community Resources guide. This guide contains lists of various community resources that patrons often request, and resources are broken down into regions or age groups when appropriate.

Book a Social Worker is a service offered by the St. Louis County Library at several branches. Social workers are available to provide free one-on-one advising and assistance to connect patrons with vital resources and referrals to service providers in the community. Assistance on a wide range of topics is available, including, but not limited to: childcare, housing insecurity, food insecurity, medical assistance, domestic violence, mental health, parenting resources, senior resources, and substance abuse.

Clark-Fox Family Foundation has compiled a vast array of resources available in the St. Louis region. These interactive maps can help you find the right organization for your need.

Mercy Neighborhood Ministry Resources is a list of resource packets for dozens of assistance programs throughout the St. Louis area.

Start Here is a resource that includes information about all kinds of community resources including shelters, food, clothing, medical help, legal services, immigrant services, LGBTQ+ services, and more.
