In-person GED/HiSet Classes

St. Louis County Library does not currently offer in-person GED/HiSet Classes. Our program with Excel Adult High School is all online. If you need in-person classes, please check the links below for other community organizations with in-person offerings.

St. Louis Community College: Adult Basic Education
Adult Basic Education offers preparation to take the Missouri Test of High School Equivalence and remedial work in subjects such as mathematics, reading and writing skills.
Urban League of Metro St. Louis GED Program
The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc. hosts a General Education Diploma (GED) program in partnership with St. Louis Public Schools.
CAASTLC HiSet Classes
In partnership with St. Louis County school districts, CAASTLC provides Case Management and supportive services to those enrolled in HiSET or technical education programs to help individuals attain educational certification.
MET Center
Adult Basic Education Program (HiSet)
Offers academic skills enhancement and HiSET preparation. Classes are taught by staff of St. Louis Public Schools. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Parkway School District High School Equivalency & Adult Basic Education
Parkway offers a variety of free adult education services for individuals 17 and older. Classes are individualized. Students work at their own pace on the skills they need.
