The Angels with Tails Animal Sanctuary is being built for the purpose of assisting animals that have been neglected, abandoned, and/or abused. They rehabilitate and heal animals to the best of their abilities both physically and emotionally to make them more adoptable for new, loving families. All animals are spayed/neutered, immunized and micro-chipped at the Sanctuary. No animal shall be turned away that are special needs or considered 'unadoptable' by others. They transport animals to expert medical care when their physical injuries are beyond their capability.

This is accomplished by controlling populations of stray and feral animals, enforcing County ordinances, and providing exemplary care for animals housed at the shelter. Animal House opened in 2010. Today Animal House is a safe place where cats in need find shelter, medical and nutritional support, individualized socialization and interaction, enrichment, love, and the opportunity to connect with a loving, lifelong family.

The Saint Louis Metropolitan Spay Neuter and Wellness Clinic began in August 2010 as a 501(c)3 non-profit for the purpose of establishing programs and policies that will decrease the number of unwanted dogs and cats euthanized in Saint Louis each year. Because of the proven effectiveness of low-cost spay/neuter clinics in other cities, it is their goal to reduce the number of adoptable pets euthanized or eliminate euthanasia entirely as a solution to the problem.

CARE STL is the no-kill open-admission shelter dedicated to saving and caring for the unwanted, abused, neglected, and homeless companion animals of the City of St. Louis.

Since 1870, the Humane Society of Missouri (HSMO) has been dedicated to the welfare and well-being of animals.

It is a cafe that offers coffee and cats that you can pet helping them gain socialization skills while you relax.The cats are adoptable.

Founded in 2021, Smelly Cat Rescue strives to help as many stray, outdoor cats as they can in the St. Louis and St. Charles, Missouri metro area. They work with the local community to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving FUR-ever families for cats and kittens.

Their mission is to improve and enrich the lives of parrots through rescue, rehabilitative fostering, adoption and education.

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and neglect situations. STLPR strives to end pet overpopulation and abandonment of unwanted pets through education about spay/neuter, pet behavior and training and other aspects of responsible pet ownership.

The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of Missouri. They are an all-volunteer organization that rescues dogs of all ages but especially dogs five years of age and older. They actively promote the adoption of older dogs. They spay/neuter all dogs, bring them up to date with shots, worming, microchipping, and heartworm prevention.

Stray Paws Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit, foster based rescue. Their organization believes it is a moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of rescued animals and place them in loving permanent homes in St. Louis Metro Area.

They seek out and take in the animals who no other organization will help or would simply euthanize because they are too expensive to heal. They rescue the abandoned, beaten, bred, fought, injured, terrified, defeated and betrayed. The minute they enter their doors, they look in their eyes and promise them ALL the second chance they deserve for health, home, commitment and love, no matter the time or cost.

Giving cats the lives they deserve. At Tenth Life, they believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life. They provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. They work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.
