Gale eBooks is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7.

Once in the Gale eBooks database, select the Education category from the menu at the left to access a large assortment of books about different careers, including careers in the trades.

Then when have completed your apprenticeship, come back to LearningExpress Library to help prepare for your journeyman electrician, plumbers licensing, culinary arts, or cosmetology exam.

Offers thousands of on-demand video courses taught by world-class instructors across 75 categories for upskilling in the areas of business, technology, and design, as well as courses on health and well-being, the arts and language learning. Courses are replaced monthly with new material addressing emerging topics. On-demand videos in eight different languages taught by native-speaking instructors are also included.

Udemy's courses related to the trades are more general information about topics rather than focused content on specific trades, but they are worth a look.
