What kinds of warrants can the Tap In Center help with?

The Tap In Center assists in recalling warrants issued due to missing a court date (aka a bench warrant) in the following courts:

  • St. Louis County Circuit Court (felony and misdemeanor cases only)
  • St. Louis City Municipal Court, 
  • Florissant Municipal Court, 
  • and University City Municipal Court.

Is there a fee to receive legal assistance through the Tap In Center? 

No! All services provided through the Tap In Center are provided free of charge to patrons. 

I can’t make it to the Florissant Valley branch on Tuesday nights. Can I still get assistance?

Yes! You can call or text the Tap In Center at 314-669-6185 or email TapInSTL@gmail.com for assistance. Complete an intake form so we can learn how to best assist you.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the Tap In Center? 

No, but the following information would be helpful to have:

  • Current mailing address
  • Case number(s) for the warrant(s) you are seeking assistance with
  • Dated documentation for circumstances that prevented you from attending court (hospitalization, treatment facility, incarceration, etc.)

I have a legal issue that is not about a warrant or a criminal case. Can the Tap In Center help?

No. The Tap In Center is limited to assisting patrons with warrant-related issues. We cannot provide assistance for other areas of law. 

How many warrants have been recalled through the Tap In Center? 

Since the Tap In Center launched in September 2020, the Tap In Center has recalled over 1,200 warrants.
