Missouri is lucky to be graced with many unconventional statues!

And, yes, we're counting a rocking chair as a statue. Why not?

Praying Hands
The Praying Hands statue, created by local artist Jack Dawson in 1972, is more than 32 feet high and weighs more than 100 tons.

World's 2nd Largest Fork
This 35-foot tall, 11-ton fork stands shining in front of an office building in Springfield, Missouri, tines sticking into the ground.

World's 2nd Largest Pecan
The Giant Pecan has successfully been moved into the city of Brunswick and is plainly visible from Hwy. 24. Be sure to check it out during the Pecan Festival held in early October.

World's Largest Fork and Meatball
The fork is 20' tall plus the 16' meatball making it taller than a two-story building.

Maxie: The World's Largest Goose
This statue is 40 feet tall with a 65-foot wingspan, located in Sumner, Missouri - the Wild Goose Capital of the World.

World's 2nd Largest Rocking Chair
Created in 2008, the World’s Largest Rocking Chair (official name and title) was built for the express purpose of breaking the Guinness World Record for large rocking chairs. The nearby Route 66 Fanning Outpost commissioned the massive piece of furniture as a roadside attraction in the grand American tradition.
