Introduction

The Executive Branch of the United States is the branch that is responsible for implementing and enforcing laws written by Congress. The President, Vice President, Executive Office, Cabinet, independent federal agencies, and the armed forces make up the Executive Branch. The Executive Branch employs more than four million Americans.
